Keep the kids entertained this summer at Highcliffe Castle! 

Crafts – Changing weekly crafts on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week of the school holidays.

Activities – Design or colour a piece of treasure to add to our Castle treasure chest or make your very own paper Polly parrot!

Treasure Hunt – Arghh! We’ve lost our treasure! Follow the indoor trail clues to help us find it.

The Castle is open Sunday- Thursday 10am-4pm. Indoor activities & crafts are included in normal admission prices.

Get ready to indulge your senses at this spectacular wine festival, externally operated by the festival organisers and held at the Castle.

With over 50 wine exhibitors flying in from all corners of the globe, prepare for a journey through the world’s finest wines right here at Highcliffe Castle. 

All tickets need to be purchased in advance through the link below and for full details please visit the Dorset Wine Festival website direct. 

The main Castle as a visitor attraction will be closed for regular admission, so only wine festival ticket holders will be admitted. 

The site will be extremely busy so please arrange if you can, to travel by bus, bike or on foot, or car share, as parking will be limited. Alternatively park at the cliff top car park or steamer point and walk to the site.

Following another successful Creative Christmas event last November, we are excited to announce Highcliffe Castle will be hosting ‘Creatives at the Castle’ Christmas Fair on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024 10am – 4pm.

Adult admission £3.00. Child free.

Highcliffe Castle is hosting its first ever Christmas Tree Festival in December 2024.

The decorated trees will take pride of place in our State Rooms. Visitors can enjoy Christmas storytelling and a festive trail which will incorporate the trees decorated by local businesses, charities and individuals to create a delightful experience for all.

Tickets include entry to the Castle, entry to the Festival, a festive children’s trail and our new exhibition ‘ The Wonder of Winter’.
